Options
Every congregation is different.
Therefore the needs in liturgical design are different.
Simple Raiment Studio provides a
menu of services that can be tailored to meet any congregation's needs.
By selecting one of the options below or using them as a starting point, a
congregation can be certain that the experience will be unique to their
needs.
Input & Review:
The consultant
provides input on a as needed basis. There is no long-term commitment. The
parish may request advice and direction from the consultant as needed. This
advice may include design input and review of final designs. The
consultant may or may not meet with the parish. Expense is an hourly fee
with no minimum.

Instruction and Formation:
The consultant
provides instruction and formation in to the work of designing for the
parish. Topics are mostly focus on the space for worship and support
spaces for worship. An individual congregation will be able to pick and
choose the formation topics that are appropriate to them. The consultant
will not provide direction for the project nor on-going input or review.
Expense will be negotiated prior to the instruction based upon the number
of topics to be covered and time requested.

Partial consultation:
The consultant will
work with the congregation through the first phase of the project. The
consultant will provide formation opportunities and a structure for
involving the congregation in the development of a project direction. The
relationship will typically last a year. The consultant will not provide
on-going care or review of designs. Expense will be negotiated prior to
consultation based upon an hourly fee plus expenses.

Full Consultation:
The consultant will
work with the congregation throughout the entire building process from
beginning to end. Typically a three year relationship, the consultant
will help shepherd the congregation through the work of deciding what to
do, building congregational support, finding an architect, developing
plans, selecting and designing furnishings and art, reviewing the designs
for liturgical and ministerial practicality. Expense will be negotiated
prior to consultation based upon an hourly fee plus expenses.

Ministry review and development:
The consultant will
provide a process for the congregation to look at their current ministry and
potential for new ministries. The process will include an analysis of the
current ministries, demographic analysis for potential new ministries, and
the development of building requirements for these current and new
ministries. Throughout the process the responsibility is shared between the
committee and the consultant. This process may be used in conjunction with
both a partial and a full consultation. |
