Reprinting information from the Guild of Parish Artists' web site

 The Guild of Parish Artists allows and encourages congregations and individuals to reprint and use the information contained on this web site.  Please note that while it is free for congregations to use and adapt to their own needs, it is not in the public domain.  Both the Guild and the author of the resource retain certain rights.  Below are listed the requirements for use.

• Resources, articles and other material can be only published if there is no other copyright restrictions by the owner of the material.  Material that is consistently under separate copyright restrictions include such things as the titles and pictures of books and information contained on sites linked to from the Guild.  These items can not be reprinted without checking with the copyright owner.

• Guild Resources are only available for use in the local parish or congregation.  They may not be sold or included in collections that are sold.  This includes any art that uses or adapts an image, worship resource or other resource.  If you would like to include an item in something that will be sold, please contact the Guild for consideration, parishartists@simpleraiment.com.

• The following notice must accompany any resource that is used in any form. 
  If an author is named: © 2005 Author's name. Guild of Parish Artists. www.simpleraiment.com/parishartists
  If an author is not named: © 2005 Guild of Parish Artists. www.simpleraiment.com/parishartists
  If the above notice will detract from the visual composition, it may be included in another location that accompanies the used resource.  This might include the bottom of a print resource, a text file that accompanies a digital presentation, or noted on a document that accompanies a banner or other piece of artwork.   If the notice is moved, be sure to clearly note what part of the art work was under this copyright.

• Notify the Guild before using any resource.  To insure the proper use of Guild resources please contact the Guild with the following information. Notifications can be sent to parishartists@simpleraiment.com.

  • Name of the parish or church where the resource will be reprinted or otherwise used

  • Purpose of use (I.E. will it be reprinted in whole for a committee, in part in a bulletin, projected on a screen, adapted and used as part of a larger art project).

  • title or description of the Guild resource that will be used.

• Share and share alike.  If you use resources from the Guild, then please share of your own talents by offer new or additional resources.  If possible, please share a copy your finished piece with the Guild.  This may assist others in knowing how these resources can be used.
